With over 37 years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography and advanced specialization in women's health imaging, Lisa Pearson has built a career defined by clinical excellence, operational leadership, and a deep commitment to the profession. As founder of Acurasound, Inc., she has served more than 100 healthcare facilities across Southern California, managed over 60 credentialed sonographers, and personally performed over 29,000 women's health examinations — including pelvic, obstetric, breast, and fertility imaging. Her published research on early endometrial cancer detection reflects a career-long dedication to diagnostic accuracy in women's health.
Women's Health Expertise
Women's health imaging is the foundation of Lisa's clinical career. Over 60% of her documented examinations are in OB/GYN and breast imaging — from routine pelvic and obstetric exams to high-risk procedures including biophysical profiles, amniocentesis guidance, and multiple gestation imaging. She holds Advanced Practice Sonographer (APS) certification specifically in OB/GYN and Abdominal Sonography — one of few sonographers to achieve this specialty-level recognition.
